Heidegger on the factors determining the essence of modern science

Heidegger＇s thought on philosophy of science is unique in that Being runs through it.An important aspect of Heidegger＇s thought on philosophy is about the factors that determine the essence of modern science,which involve four points.First,modern science has technological essence and is the typical function and form of modern technology.Secondly,the representative thought mode of metaphysics is the precondition and basis of modern science.Thirdly,the thing that pervades and determines the essence of modern science is the inescapable that is always neglected and inaccessible,namely Being itself.Fourthly,Heidegger inquired into the basis of modern science＇s legitimacy and claimed that people should limit science to certain extent and leave wide poetic space for Being and human living.Heidegger＇s thought is aimed at returning to the foundation and starting the new,i.e.returning to the primary Being and reaching the Being itself.
