言外之力：论《红楼梦》中社交称谓的翻译

称谓是社会学以及社会语言学中的重要概念,主要包括亲属称谓和社交称谓。亲属称谓的翻译在一定范围内得到了广泛的研究,但是社交称谓翻译研究相对缺乏。社交称谓能够体现复杂的人际关系,是博大精深的中华文明的重要组成部分,因此该类称谓语的研究需要进一步加强。笔者认为可以广泛运用语用学、文化学以及社会语言学等诸多学科知识,从不同的角度对《红楼梦》称谓进行分析,只有这样才能不断丰富《红楼梦》称谓的翻译研究。

Illocutionary Force:On the Translation of Social Address Forms in A Dream of Red Mansions

Address forms, which mainly comprise kinship address forms and social address forms, are important concepts in sociology and sociolinguisties. Kinship address terms are comparatively widely studied; however, little research has been done on social address forms, which can manifest complex interpersonal relationship and are an important constituent of profound Chinese culture. In view of that, the research on social address forms should be strengthened. The writer proposes that the translation study of social address forms of Dream of Red Mansions can be enriched by drawing on the knowledge in the field of pragmatics, cuhurology and sociolinguistics.
