| 摘 要： | 随着对外交流的日益增多,翻译出版外文写作的中国学著作,成为当今中国译界的全新课题。古籍回译既有词汇、句法方面的问题,又有知识背景方面的问题,而回译成中文后,词语的润色和行文节奏也是译者面对的一大难题。结合英文版《“时报”与中国清末改革思想史》的汉译实践,笔者分析了古籍回译对译者的挑战,探讨了翻译这类文献的理念和方法,并期望引起译界对这一新的翻译任务的重新认识。

| Abstract: | The English-Chinese Translation of papers of Sinology is becoming a new task for Chinese scholars in the study of Chinese culture.This thesis is to sum up the skills used in the translation of the English version Social thoughts of the Late Qing Dynasty,analyzes the challenges the translator confronts with and explores the theory and possible means in handling such tasks. |
