| Abstract: | By analysis and appreciation of Anthology of English Cong Ci and its translator Zhuozhenying, this paper suggests that, to brings up a close equivalence of the aesthetic value and function from the original to the verse. We need an overall survey of the original and the employment of English poetic forms in the translation of Chinese verse and varieties of adaptation, and to produce the closest reconstruction of the original beauty in form, prosody, emotion and so on. |
