略论刘智宗教思想的来源

和明末清初大多数回族伊斯兰宗教学者一样 ,刘智也是一位“学贯中西”、“学通四教”的人。在他的思想中 ,伊斯兰教知识是主体和核心 ,也是他从事汉文译著的出发点和终结点。但也无可否认 ,他的思想中还掺杂着儒、佛、道及苏非主义、“西洋之学”。换言之 ,刘智除重点研读伊斯兰教经籍外 ,还广泛吸收了上述诸家的思想养分 ,并把它们融会到自己的宗教思想之中。当然 ,作为一个穆斯林宗教学者 ,他习读儒书及佛道等经籍 ,从事汉文著述 ,目的不是为了宣传儒家思想 ,也不是为了信道、崇佛 ,而是为了从主观上适应当时中国的条件 ,其真正用意在于“以阐其教” ,即传扬伊斯兰教。而像刘智这样贯通诸家的学者 ,不仅在“回儒”中罕见 ,即使在“汉儒”中亦难觅。

Briefly Discussion about the Source of LiuZhi Religion Thought

The same as the most Islamism scholars of Huizu in the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, LiuZhi was also a person that learned through the west and the east, had proficiency in all religions. Islamism knowledge is the mainpart and kernel, and at the same time the beginning and the end of his taking up translating Chinese in his thought. Indisputably, his thought had still be mixed with Confucian, Buddhism, Taoism and Soviet, western literature. In other words, besides researching importantly Islamism Confucian classics, LiuZhi absorbed widely the thought nutrient from the about, and mixed them into his own religion. Thought of course, as a Moslem religion scholar, he read Confucian and Buddhism Confucian classics, taking up Chinese complied. His purpose was not for propagating Confucian thought, Buddhism and Taoism, but fit for the Chinese situation at that time subjectively. His real aim was explaining the religion, spreading Islamism religion. Such proficient scholar as LiuZhi was not only seldom seen in Hui-Confucian, but also hard found in Han-Confucian.
