试论民族地区高校的科学定位与科学发展

摘    要:民族地区的高校要与时代发展的步伐相协调,必须突破传统民族教育的保守性和封闭性,树立和落实民族高校的科学发展观,坚持“科学治校”的理念,按照全面、协调、可持续发展的要求对学校的建设和发展进行准确定位,既要从经济和社会发展的要求来考虑,也要从民族高校自身的发展来思考。民族高校应根据民族地区经济社会发展的需求,根据学校人、财、物的资源状况,从学校类型、学科专业建设、培养人才层次、办学特色和学术水平等方面科学定位,来确定自身科学发展的方向。

Abstract:Higher schools in ethnic minority regions must keep up with the steps of the times by breaking through the closed and conservative teaching mode of traditional education and forming the concept of scientific development in school management. In compliance of the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development strategy, higher schools should confirm their orientations consistent with its own conditions and the development of local economy. Five aspects including school type, disciplinary design, talent training, teaching features and academic standards on the scientific orientations of higher schools are put forward in this paper respectively.
