The Drug Policy of Japan in Northern China and Its Harmful Consequences

After occupying Northeastern China, Japanese invaders started the narcotic drug policy such as themonopoly of opium trade. After the Northern China Accident, especially after the July-Seventh Accident, Ja-panese applied this vicious policy in the areas of Northern China, they set up special institutions in the puppetgovernment in Northern China to see that the production and sales of narcotic drugs became legal and open.The opium houses were established to induce people for consumption. The narcotic drug policy in NorthernChina thus became the important part of the colonial rule policy of Japanese imperialists which had done greatharms to the social economy and people's life in Northern China areas.
