罗布桑悫丹与当时许多忧国忧民的开明人士一样,已看到自己民族的落后及其基本原因,并且认为发展文化教育和经济是民族复兴的必由之路。屡遭失败后,他断定封建统治必然崩溃,因此他把希望留给后代,通过写《蒙古风俗鉴》告诉后人,要使蒙古族不致灭亡,必须在分析批判的基础上,正确认识自己的民族,必须发展文化教育,改变落后的生产方式、生活方式与风俗习惯。

A Study on Customs of Mongolian Written by Lobsangchoidan

As many enlightened persons care for the fate of his nation and people at that time,Lobsangchoidan recognized the fundamental causes of the backwardness of his own national group,and regarded the development of education and economy as the only road of revival of nationhood.After suffered defeat he came to the conclusion that the feudalism would bound to be defeated,and expected much of his successors,by writing A Book about Customs of Mongolian,he told the later generations that in order to rescue the nationality from downfall,people must adopt a correct attitude towards them's own national group through self-evaluation,and develop the culture and education while changing the backward mode of production,life-style,social customs and habits.
