| 摘 要： | 乡村自治作为近代地方自治运动的产物，起源于直隶定县的翟城村。民国初年，翟城村自治在政府与乡绅的双向推动下启动，促进了传统乡村制度的变革，产生了重要的社会影响。20世纪20年代末，伴随南京国民政府乡村自治制度的推行，翟城村的自治制度形式发生了转捩。虽然翟城村自治以破产而告终，但其历史特点值得我们在推行村民自治的今天加以重视。

| Abstract: | As the outcome of the Local Self-government Movement in the early years of the Republic of China,village self-governing originated in Zhaicheng village, Zhili province. It was caused by the mutual promotion between the state and the country gentry,and it had an important effect on the society. With the practice of the Nanjing Government's village self-government system, the village self-government system in Zhaicheng changed in the late 1920s.Although it failed at last, its historical characteristics merits our attention today. |
