墨西哥乡村地区旅游发展研究——以尤卡坦地区艾克巴兰村为例

在墨西哥坎昆—玛雅海岸走廊后方的内陆地区，有一些村落凭借优越的地理位置以及丰富多样的地形地貌、生物种类和社会文化发展旅游业，开展有别于传统旅游产品的业务。当地政府力求通过发展旅游业来促进乡村地区的经济发展。这些地区围绕“深厚的玛雅文明”与“繁茂的热带雨林”探索，向造访坎昆—玛雅海岸的旅游者推出各种旅游活动以丰富其体验。通过对艾克巴兰村（Ek Balam）案例地的旅游业发展的研究，揭示了当地政府以及居民作为旅游业参与者在旅游化进程中的职能与作用。

The Tourism Development in Rural Areas of Mexico as Exemplified by Ek Balam in Yucatan Region

The hinterland of the Cancún-Riviera Maya corridor is a region where some rural inland communities have opted to develop tourism activities from the possibilities offered by their location. Their geomorphological, biogeographic and socio-cultural characteristics make possible constituting an alternative and complementary tourism. This development of tourism activities is also a response to various government programs that promote tourism as an option for rural development. This hinterland offers tourists the opportunity to diversify their tourism practices through the discovery of the “deep Mayan world” and “the exuberant rainforest”. Through studying Ek Balam, a village located near the Mayan archeological site, the paper explores the function and roles of the local government and the residents as tourists in the process of tourism
