Abstract:Based on the theory of the interaction and evolution between ports and hinterlands and the experience of the interaction between the port cities and hinterland cities in the world’s three largest Bay areas, the article forms a pulse response function to analyze and judge the relevance of the current port hinterland industry in Ningbo Bay area through the impact of the three industries in the hinterland city of Ningbo Bay area on the three industries of the port city. The article finds that Ningbo Bay area port city and hinterland city have a high degree of industrial relevance, but different industries show different characteristics. On the basis of empirical data and reality, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the economic interaction between Ningbo Bay area port city and hinterland City. It should make use of the advantages of port, pay attention to the construction of infrastructure network, develop the core city and promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.
