A Study on the Imperial Clan of Wuyue State

The Qian clan, the imperial clan of Wuyue State, was critical to defend the sovereignty for the Emperors by controlling the local states. Emperor Qian Liao encouraged and developed the Confucian moral to make the imperial clan harmonious and intimate, and the family members became literati which showed an important characteristic of the historical trend. The Qian clan took the key position to stabilize the political situation and carry out the transformation of Wuyue State which was their contributions to the history.
