中国-东盟自由贸易区与广西经济的发展机遇

2002年11月,中国和东盟领导人正式签署了《中国—东盟全面经济合作框架协议》,这标志着中国—东盟自由贸易区的建设正式启动。2003年10月,中国和泰国签订第一批农产品零关税协议。在这样的背景下,本文试图以农产品零关税为切入点,分析中国—东盟自由贸易区的现状,并对其发展前景做出预测,进一步研究广西的优势及面临的机遇,提出广西发展的政策性建议。

China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and Development Opportunities for Guangxi Province

On November 2002, China and ASEAN signed the"Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between China and ASEAN" in Kampuchea, which marked that CAFTA (China and ASEAN Free Trade Area) was started formally. Shortly after that, China and Thailand signed a tariff reduction agreement in Beijing on June 18, 2003. Under this background, this article attempts to regard zero tariff of farm production as the breakthrough point, analyzes the current situation of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA), and then maks predictions of the future of CAFTA. Further studies in this paper also reveal advantages of Guangxi province and opportunities it will face in the future, and provide policy suggestions for the development of Guangxi.
