摘    要:根据任意倾斜偏置磁场情形下的磁光耦合模理论,分析了传统磁化时磁光薄膜波导中静磁正向体波、静磁反向体波和静磁表面波等3种静磁模对导波光的非共线衍射作用.给出了用静磁波复振幅表示的导波光衍射效率公式,理论计算与实验结果一致,所得结论可为磁光Bragg器件的优化设计以及它在磁光信息处理中的应用分析提供理论基础。

Abstract:According to the magneto-optic coupled-mode equations for the case of arbitrarily inclined magnetization, the noncollinear interaction between guided optical waves and three kinds of magnetostatic modes, namely, magnetostatic forward volume wave, magnetostatic backward volume wave and magnetostatic surface wave in the conventionally magnetized YIG film waveguides is analyzed. The diffraction efficiencies are expressed in terms of the complex envelope of Magneto Static Waves (MSWs). The theoretical results obtained are consistent with the experimental data. The conclusions obtained in the paper can be applied to the optimization of the MSW-based Bragg cells with applications to optical signal processing.
