《苏东坡传》汉译本中“把”字句应用及动因分析

通过创建小型人物传记翻译语料库，从定量研究的角度分析《苏东坡传》中“把”字句在张振玉译本和宋碧云译本中的分布特征。研究发现:“把”字句在两译本中的使用频率显著高于在语料库中大多数汉语原创人物传记中的使用频率；张译本和宋译本中“把”字句使用频率分别为1.619/千字和1.306/千字，张译本中“把”字句使用频率显著高于宋译本（p=0.017*）。从图式理论和翻译策略两个方面分析上述差异，以期为“把”字句的理解和在英汉翻译中的应用提供借鉴。

Corpus-based Study of Ba-construction in the Chinese Versions of The Gay Genius: The Life and Times of Su Tungpo by Lin Yutang

Based on a corpus analysis, this article explores the distribution and use of BA construction in two Chinese versions of The Gay Genius:The Life and Times of Su Tungpo, Zhang Zhenyu and Song Biyun being respectively the translator. The result shows that the BA construction frequency in Zhang’s and Song’s translation are respectively 1.619 per thousand and 1.306 per thousand. Thus the BA construction is more frequently used in Zhang’s and Song’s translation of The Gay Genius:The Life and Times of Su Tungpo than in many other Chinese memorists originally written in Chinese, and the BA construction frequency per thousand in Zhang’s version is significantly higher than that in Song’s version（p=0.017*）. An examination of the research result reveals that the motivations for the use of BA construction in the two Chinese translations can be explained in terms of schematic meanings and translation strategies. The discovery of this research intends to deepen the understanding of the BA construction and its application in English-Chinese translation.
