| Abstract: | The semantic system of modern Chinese is composed of three key elements, namely, semantic units,the structural relations between them, and structural hierarchy. Semantic units of different nature are interacted with one other complexly,which combines closely the two sub systems (that of word meaning and that of sentence meaning),and consequently the two sub sub systems(that of morphological meaning and that of syntactic meaning).These together construct a whole structural system in which elements are closely related to one other. |
