| 摘 要： | 英语中,名词及其同根形容词都可以作定语修饰名词,但两者与中心词的关系不同名词与中心词是限定关系,其同根形容词与中心词是修饰关系.所以,二者表达的意思也有明显的不同,翻译时一定要正确理解,忠实原文.

| Abstract: | As attribute, noun is quite different in meaning from its same\|root adjective, since a restrictive link exists between the former and the central word while a modifying link between the latter and the central word. So the translation must be exact and true to the original. |
