阿伦特眼中的马克思——思想史语境中的重读与误释

从政治哲学传统出发,阿伦特认为马克思的哲学颠覆了柏拉图以来的西方政治思想传统,以哲学的政治实现取代了形而上的思辨。马克思哲学中对劳动的历史观意义的论证、对暴力的颂扬和对自由的强调,体现了马克思思想的核心主题。出于对古希腊公共政治的推崇,阿伦特认为马克思虽然颠覆了柏拉图以来的传统,但又处于这一传统之中,并没有真正地回到前柏拉图的思想与政治世界。

Arendt's Understanding of Marx

From the angle of the political philosophy tradition,Arendt believed that Marx'sphilosophy had subverted the political thinking tradition since Plato and substituted speculation with the political realization of philosophy.In Marx'sphilosophy,the proving of the historical significance of labor and the praise for violence and the emphasis on freedom have manifested the essence of Marx'sthoughts.With the admiration toward the ancient Greek public politics,Arendt thought though Marx had subverted tradition since Plato,he was still in this tradition,he did not really return to Plato't thoughts and politics.
