言语与中西文化差异--张东荪的言语观诠次

张东荪在二十世纪三四十年代就非常注重对言语问题的研究。他从言语的角度,以求中国与西方文化差异的研究思路,对中国文化、逻辑、哲学的特征进行了自己的探讨。他指出,言语的不同是中西民族文化差异、逻辑有别、哲学迥异的一个重要因素,西方文化、逻辑、哲学并非人类的普遍模式,它与中国文化、逻辑、哲学是各具特性的不同的文化系统。

Language and the Differences Between Chinese Culture and Western Culture --On Zhang Dong-sun's Opinion of Language

Early in the 30's and 40's of 20 century, Zhang Dong-sun paid close attention to the rela-tionships between language and culture, language and logic, language and philosophy. In his opinion, western culture wasn't the universal pattern, and differences in languages have caused the different characteristics of Chinese culture and western culture. His research reflected his deep understanding of western culture, logic and philosophy which are a different culture system which is different from Chinese culture, logic and philosophy.
