Analysis and Enlightenment of the Fourth Edition of 0-3 StandardizedCurriculum for Nursery Institutions in South Korea

In services of infant and toddler care institutions, scientific childcare curriculum is of great significance for infants to acquirevaluable direct experience and promote their comprehensive and harmonious physical and mental development. It is not only the corepath to achieve the goal of early childhood care, but also an important engine to promote the high-quality development of childcare ser⁃vices. Since the South Korean government issued the first version of the standardized childcare curriculum for 0-3 years old in 2007, ithas gone through four revisions and formed a complete and standardized curriculum system, which ranks among the top in the assess⁃ment of the quality of childcare services in various countries by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development（OECD）.An in-depth analysis of the background, basic policies, curriculum objectives, implementation principles, organization and evaluationof the latest fourth edition of standardized childcare curriculum in South Korea in 2020, we can learn from its useful experience to helpstandardize the curriculum design and implementation of childcare institutions in China, and promote the high-quality development ofchildcare service institutions.
