西南民族学院20世纪50年代民族调查概述

在1956-1957年民族大调查中,西南民族学院成为四川各调查组的联络站及协调处,民族研究所领导及教师积极参与,分赴甘孜、阿坝、凉山及贵州等地,对藏、彝、羌、苗、侗等族开展调查。这些民族调查资料,为中国共产党发展马列主义民族理论、制定相关民族政策、实行民族区域自治、发展各民族地区的政治、经济及文化等提供了决策依据和资料借鉴。本文在一定程度上展示了西南民族学院民调工作组在民族大调查中所作出的巨大贡献。
