论仙话的反抗精神

中国古代特有的仙话，蕴含着一种宝贵的反抗精神。这种反抗精神体现在两个方面：一个方面是凡人坚信“我命在我不在天”的理念，追求肉体成仙长生不老，这其实是对上天命运的反抗；另一方面是修道者以及仙人显示出做人应有的高贵与尊严，与权贵斗争，争得做人的权利，这是对社会压迫者的反抗。第一种反抗，从早期的仙话到晚期的仙话一直持续着；第二种反抗，则由于政治、文化和思想的变迁，没有能够很好地持续下来。仙话所表现出的反抗精神，是古代中国人极为希缺极为珍贵的品格。

A Discussion of the Rebellion Spirit in Fairy Tales

In ancient China there was a kind of story, fairy tales, embodying a valuable rebellion spirit, presented in two aspects： one is the mortals had the strong belief that ＂My fate is in my own hands, not in God＇s hand.＇, pursuing immortal means, which was actually a rebellion against fate; and the other was the gymnosophists or immortals displayed their nobility and dignity, fighting against powers and trying to gain their fight to be ordinary people, which was actually resistance to social oppressors. The first kind of resistance persisted throughout the history of all fairy tales, and the second resistance, did not persist because of political or cultural transforms. The rebellion spirit seen from the fairy tales was a unique and valuable character of the ancient people.
