| 摘 要： | 对某些数字的崇拜与禁忌是数字文化的重要内容,数字蕴藏着丰富的文化内涵。不同的数字在不同民族和不同语言中被赋予了不同的吉凶象征意义。文章对不同象征意义的文化根源进行研究,这有助于人们了解文化差异,消除文化冲突,从而更好地进行跨文化交际。

| Abstract: | The worship and taboo of numerical words is the important content of numerical culture.As numerical words carry rich cultural information,different numbers have different symbolic sense in English and Chinese.Studying the background knowledge of their cultural sources in the two languages help to know cultural differences,eliminate cultural conflict and improve people's inter-cultural communication. |
