皈依无产阶级革命文学

革命文学的哲学基础是马克思主义的唯物史观。以直线性发展为特征的唯物史观 ,与中国传统文化中的往复循环论是相抵牾、对抗的。一般说来 ,当人们遇到了与本传统的文化思想相悖逆的观念时 ,往往会本能地滋生出抗拒与排斥的情绪。然而 ,包括像鲁迅、郭沫若、茅盾等这样的一些在“五四”时期就取得重大成就 ,并奠定其文学地位的文学大家对唯物史观、革命文学等外来思想很快就坦然地接受 ,并融合进自己的创作中 ,其主要原因之一 ,就是在两者之间存在着进化论这一过渡的桥梁。可以说 ,自近代以来 ,进化论在中国的广泛传播和对新文学启蒙者的深刻影响 ,就为马克思主义的唯物史观以及在该思想指导下发展起来的革命文学在中国的兴起、扎根奠定了稳固的思想基础

A Conversion to Proletarian Literature

One of the philosophic bases of revolutionary literature is Marxist historical materialism, which, featured by the notion of linear development, actually disagrees with the concept of recurrence in the Chinese traditional culture. Generally speaking, people would become repugnant to the ideas that contradict the traditional. Nevertheless, one of the major reasons that some masterminds, such as Lu Xun, Guo Mo-ruo and Mao Dun, could readily accept the historical materialism and the notion of revolutionary literature, and, incorporate them into their writings is that the gap between the traditional ideas and the notions of historical materialism and revolutionary literature was bridged over by the notion of evolutionism. We may also say that the spreading of the notion of evolutionism in recent China greatly influenced the Chinese enlightenment writers and therefore, laid solid foundation for the establishment of revolutionary literature.
