英汉语旅游景点介绍文本具有相似的文本功能,但二者在语篇模式和文体特征上表现出较大的差异。要使旅游外宣文本实现其预期功能,译者必须了解目的语读者对该类语篇的阅读期待,对原文信息进行调整。本文对比分析了英汉旅游景点介绍文本在语言特点、信息功能方面的差异,从翻译的功能理论角度探讨了汉语旅游景点介绍文本英译中信息重组的必要性和原则以及可以采用的翻译方法。

Comparison Between English and Chinese Tourism Texts of Scenic Spots from Perspective of Functional Approaches to Translation

Although the English and Chinese tourism texts of scenic spots have similar text functions,they differ in the discourse structures and stylistic features.In order to achieve the intended function of the target text,translators have to reorganize the information of the original text to meet the reading expectations of English readers.After a comparison of the differences of English and Chinese tourism texts in language features and information function,this paper,from the perspective of functional theory,not only explores the necessity and principles of information reorganization in the translation of Chinese tourism texts but also discusses some translation methods that can be used properly.
