| Abstract: | Shen Kuo was ＂one of the most outstanding figures in the scientific history of China＂, whose Sketchbook of Dream Brook is called ＂the coordinate of Chinese scientific history＂. His rich fruits and brilliant achievements resulted from a good social environment, and more importantly, from his personal psyche： first, the scientific skepticism and innovative spirit; second, the scientific spirit of seeking truth. |
