| 摘 要： | 赛珍珠短篇小说主要表现在东西方文化交叉的大背景和在情感与家庭矛盾纠葛的小背景下生活着的人,注重文化、情感活动中人的命运、性格、心理等方面的展示.在创作方法和技巧上,她致力于人物形象的塑造和刻画、情节结构的布局安排、叙述方法的变化运用.这使她的短篇小说闪耀着独特的光彩,散发出独具的幽香.

| Abstract: | In her short stories, Pearl S. Buck describes those people who, on the one hand, are caught between the Oriental and Western cultures, and on the other hand, are involved in the contradiction of family and emotion, focusing on the demonstration of people's fate, character and psychology through the activities of culture and emotion. In terms of writing methods and skills, she puts her whole heart to the creation of characters, knitting of plots and applying of various narrating ways. As a result, her short stories are gifted with unique brightness and particular charm. |
