《金瓶梅》不仅是一部小说 ,它其实还向人们展示了丰富的伦理世界。它的伦理世界主要表现在两个方面 :其一是通过西门庆以及其他人物的社会生活、经济行为这个“经线”的描写 ,反映了明代中晚期新兴商人以及社会各阶层所特有的经济伦理世界 ;其二是通过金、瓶、梅以及其他女性的家庭生活、性的行为这个“纬线”的描写 ,展示了明代中晚期广大妇女在婚姻关系和两性关系上所特有的道德伦理世界。我们既要看到其历史进步性 ,也要批判其封建糟粕

The Ethical World of JinPingMei

JinPingMei is not only a literary book,it also introduces its readers to a rich ethical world from mid to late Ming Dynasty.In general,this novel comprises two parts:on the one hand,by describing the social life and economic activities of XiMenqin and other men,it presents an economic ethical world of a newly emerging class of businessmen and other social classes;on the other hand,by highlighting the family life and sexual behaviour of three women,namely Jin,Ping,Mei,it reveals a moral ethical world that existed in both matrimonial and sexual relations at that time. Compared with other novels, JinPingMei is distinctive.However,we mustn't overlook the negative aspects of its contents whilst we highly appreciate its literary significance and historic progress.
