| 摘 要： | 广东潮汕地区侨批局是专门经营海外华侨华人寄回国内的简短家书及汇款的民营机构。它是在 19世纪水客业的基础上产生的 ,随着侨批业务的增加在当时的各种客观条件下逐渐发展起来 ,于 2 0世纪3 0年代前后形成了功能齐全、纵横交错的经营网络。侨批局按功能可分为收揽局、中转局、投递局三种基本类型 ;按规模及经营网络又可分为大、中、小型三类批局。各类批局各具特点 ,共同构成了侨批的经营网络 ,对当时潮汕地区经济的影响很大。

| Abstract: | Based on the business of Shui-ke in nineteenth century, the Business of Overseas Chinese Postal Agencies appeared and developed rapidly in Chaoshan ,enstern Guangdong Province. Then an operating network in this business came into being and soon grew into a perfect and complex one in the 1930s. In the network, the agencies were classified into three types, according to their different functions and sizes. The operation of the network affected the local economiy. |
