| Abstract: | Kong Shangren has a pious worship for the Confucianism while the distinguishing value of his thought lies in the face that he could get free from the constrain of Confucianism and surpassed the original essence gem of Confucianism. So he shifted the expectation of saving the last years of feudalism from the literati and officialdom in feudal china who indulged in empty talk to the townspeople who dealed with concrete affairs relating to reality. His thought symbols the emergence of early enlightenism. |
