| Abstract: | English idioms are the most complicated and volatile part of the language.It is not adequate to explore and search for the exact and profound colorful meaning of certain idioms.The English idioms are rooted in broad human civilization,especially culture,so probes of their origination must be made deeply into the plentiful and substantial background of the English-speaking people.The next will serve as a brief analysis on this thesis. |
