| 摘 要： | 从Ｇｏｆｆｍａｎ的交际理论入手，采用“实证研究”的方法，对汉语电话会话的结束方式作了探讨，并着重区别了需要说“再见”和可以不说“再见”的场合及其制约因素。旨在发现人们在电话交际中所遵循的行为准则及交际策略，同时也为英汉电话会话的对比分析提供研究基础。

| Abstract: | Using Goffman's communication theory and linguistic studies of communication,this paper makes anempirical investigation of the closings of telephone conversations in Chinese.The focus of this paper is on theanalysis of the settings where 'goodbye' is needed or omitted and the constraints that dominate its usage. Thepurpose of the paper is to find the principles and strategies that people follow in telephone communications. Thisstudy also intends to provide a basis for a comparative analysis of telephone conversation in English and Chinese. |
