论闻一多《死水》的审美价值

<死水>是闻一多先生的代表作.读<死水>,只有纠当时人不重其思想内涵之偏(<死水>是一首愤激的爱国诗);也纠闻先生辩解自己"没有技巧"之偏(<死水>贯彻了诗人"音乐美"、"建筑美"、"绘画美"的诗歌主张),才能真正领会<死水>的审美价值.在借鉴西方诗歌绘画理论的同时,闻先生又提倡恢复"对旧文学信仰"及中国古典诗画意境之传统,因而在重新审视"五四"新文化运动的成绩及局限(全盘西化而导致传统文化断裂的今天,闻先生的主张更见其卓越之处.

On the Aesthetic Value of "Dead Water" by Wen Yiduo

Dead Water is one of the masterpieses by Mr. Wen Yiduo. The value can not be really ap- preciated unless the poem is read without any biased opinions,one of which lack of deep connotation commented by his contemporaries. ("Dead Water is actually a patriotic poem full of passion), and the other of which is of "No skills" proposed by the poet to argue for himself. (Dead Water in fact carries out poet's view of musical,architectural and artistic beauty in verse). On learning from west- em artistic theory, Mr. Wen advocated to restore the value of classic literature and traditions of mood in Chinese ancient poems and paintings. Therefore,when achievements and limitations in May 4th New Cultural Movement are reevaluated today,the propositions by Mr. Wen appear more out- standing.
