| Abstract: | Teaching of reading plays an important role in the teaching method of a senior high school. However, the result is dissatisfactory. This paper expounds what affects the students'ability to read from English itself, its background knowledge, their cognitive strategies reading skills and so on, and puts forward the relevant strategies. |
