论高等职业院校英语教学应用归因理论的价值

摘    要:归因理论是关于人们如何解释自己或他人的行为,以及这种解释如何影响他们的情绪、动机和行为的心理学理论。实践表明,归因理论适应中国高等职业院校的英语教学。师生合理运用归因理论,可以确保教学顺利有序地进行,使学生对英语学习充满兴趣和激情,克服语言自卑感和习得无助感,激发并维持学习动机。高等职业院校的英语教学要以教师为引导,以学生为主体,因此教师要全面、客观地了解学生,努力做到正确进行成败归因,培养学生的学习兴趣,还要帮助他们客观地自我归因,使他们建立并维持对英语的学习动机,使学生的英语学习变"被动式"为"主动式"。

Abstract:Attribution Theory is originally a psychological one about people’s perception and interpretation of behaviors of themselves or of others which may influence their future emotions,motivation and behaviors.This paper is intended to advocate the application of Attribution Theory in English teaching due to the fact that it may ensure the teaching efficiency of the teachers,the interest and passion of students in English learning and the overcoming of learned-helplessness.English teaching in higher vocational school should be teacher-guided,student-centered and student-focused.English teachers should,therefore,after overall and subjective understanding of students,help them define performance attribution,cultivate their interest in learning,establish and maintain learning motivation and make them more active in English learning.
