The Mean: Mencius's Outlook of Education and its Significance |

| Abstract: | Mencius's ideology of the Mean is deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture and has profound philosophical implications. The philosophy of the Mean is the guideline in Mencius's educational theories and practice which is the foundation of his educational philosophy of the Mean. It is of great value for the spreading of the Chinese national spirits, the educating of people as whole persons, and promoting rationality and wisdom. |
