摘    要:中国的"大众文化"因为其独特的历史背景,与西方的"大众文化"不能等同,它在中国有自己的产生土壤。最早可追溯至古代的民间文化、市民文化,经历了现代的"大众文学",发展到了当代的"大众文化",从文化与政治的典型结合时期,过渡到了文化依附于经济的时代。但无论它以哪种方式出现,它的面向对象都是大众。

Abstract:The masses culture in China has its distinctive culture history background and its emerging soil, so it can not be equal to the mass culture in the West. The earliest masses culture in China can be traced back to the folk culture and the townspeople culture of antiquity, and then went through the masses literature of the modern times, and went to the masses culture of the present age. Of course it developed form the period of culture combined typically with politics to the times of culture depended on economy. No matter how it appears, its accepters will be the masses.
