| 摘 要： | 1989年,美国华裔女作家谭恩美的小说《喜福会》一出版就引起了美国文坛的广泛注意和一致好评。近年来对《喜福会》的解读大多落点于文化研究领域,本文则借鉴弗兰克·克莫德小说理论,从小说节奏和终极关怀精神这两方面入手,剖析作者是如何运用节奏缝合四对母女交错复杂的口述故事,使小说像一首多声部的交响曲最终在和谐圆满中结束。同时文章还分析了作者溶注到这部感人肺腑的小说之中的终极关怀精神。

| Abstract: | The publication of The Joy Luck Club immediately drew much attention and gained unanimous praise from American literary critics in 1989. In the recent years, Chinese critics commenting on this book usually put their emphasis on the field of cultural study. This article uses the theory of Frank Kermode to analyze the achievements of this novel from the viewpoint of rhythm and ultimate concern and reveals how rhythm successfully sews the story narrated by eight voice parts and ends the story in perfect harmony. Meanwhile, the article also analyzes how Amy Tan permeates her profound emotion of ultimate concern into the charming work. |
