教育界一直存在一个长期争论的话题——中美大学生孰优孰劣?尽管在我国目前的高等教育制度下,中国大学生在知识深度和基础知识的扎实度方面要远胜于美国,但由于在多元文化氛围的营造、通识教育的理解与实施、教育的非功利性意识、自主精神与创新精神的培育等方面,我国的高等教育与美国存在巨大的差异,直接导致了教育结果的不同——高尖端科学研究成果大多与美国的教育相关而离我们甚远。这一切值得我们反思。
