吴泰昌散文的价值取向

The Value Orientation of Wu Tai-chang's Prose

This article analyzes the value orientation of Wu Taichang's prose from three aspects. Firstly, Mr. Wu endows the information-oriented prose with significant continuance. Evidently different from the well-quoted academic essays, scholastic prose, and scribbles, his prose records the life and the creative experience of writers of the older generation by combining the information-orientation and the expression-orientation, thus leaving precious materials for the modern literary history. In terms of the pursuit of prose on art, he pays more attention to the unique thinking about man, depicting characters from the perspective of the first person. Therefore, he has succeeded in finding the critical angle in the characterization in both prose and novels. Finally, he stresses the home complex. As a result, we can have a taste of the value orientation of country culture—singing the country songs in big cities—a special means to realize the spiritual return. In this way he displays distinctive values in the form of cultural selection.
