| Abstract: | Zhong Rong considered that Liu Zhen was precedent overWang Can while Liu Xie'view was just the opposite.Their views and comments have inserted a great influence on the discussion of this subject by people of later generations. The author analyzes deeply the differences between Zhong Rong and Liu Xie's understanding of the literary style and the aesthetic judgement, and clarifies the reasons why they hold different views on the precedence. |
