It is a fact that anti tragedy tendency exists in classical Chinese tragedy.How has it come into being? Different people make different explanation and present many good ideas.But all these discussion are made just from one aspect and so the conclusion can not be regarded as fully convincing.This paper tries to put classical tragedy into classical china,the big cultural circumstances and explore into the reasons of anti tragedy tendency in classical Chinese tragedy from its economic,philosophic,religious,aesthetic and other aspects.
