平衡以意义为中心和以语法形式为中心的教学模式

摘    要:FonF教学作为一种新的教学模式,它克服了“以意义为中心”和“以语法形式为中心”两种教学法的不足,强调在交际性课堂里注重意义的同时也注重语言形式的教学,从而把两种对立的教学模式融为一体。实证研究表明,与单一关注形式或单一意义的教学方法相比,FonF教学的教学效果更好,它能促使学生把更多新的结构融入他们的语言系统并加以运用,不仅有利于培养学生使用语言的流利性,还能提高其语言使用的准确度。

Abstract:As a new model of foreign language teaching,FonF is possessed of many merits which have drawn great attention from experts in SLA research,who agree that focus-on-meaning and focus-on-form approaches can be compatible with each other.According to some experimental researches,FonF proves to be more effective than both focus-on-meaning and focus-on-form approaches in that it advocates the integral teaching of both meaning and grammar forms in communicative classes.In FonF classes,learners are more likely to enrich their language system with new grammatical structures and learn to use them so that the fluency,accuracy and complexity of their interlanguage can be greatly improved.
