16至18世纪中国婢女现象论析

16至18世纪国家对蓄婢行为的控制削弱,蓄婢现象突出。其主要表现为:婢女数量增多,分布广泛,蓄婢成风。立足于社会史和女性史的角度对此现象进行考察可发现,除了灾荒、官府的横征暴敛、高利贷盘剥和清初奴隶制残余向内地扩展以外,扭曲的男尊女卑观念、奢侈的社会风气以及从事婢女交易的专业团伙和中介人的存在也是形成婢女现象的根源。对婢女现象的再考察有助于我们更好地理解下层女性的生存状态。

An Analysis of the Servant Women Phenomenon in 16th-18th Century China

Enslaving women had become a common social custom due to the decline of state control over it through 16th to 18th century.It is mainly reflected from the increasing number and widespread existence of the servant women.By examining this phenomenon from the sociology and female history point of view,the author summarized the likely reasons for this trend,including natural calamities,heavy taxes,usurious loan practices and the spreading of Manchurian slavery.Meanwhile,such a phenomenon also has its roots in the discrimination against women,the pursuit of luxury life style,and broker groups or individuals dealing with the trading of servant women.Through examining the servant women phenomenon,we can understand the existence of lower women.
