New Interpretation of Zhongyong ( the Doctrine of the Mean)

Zhongyong (the Doctrine of the Mean中庸) is a important classical literature of Confucian philosophy. It takes moral noumenon as foundation and beginning, takes moral subject as nucleus, expounds the behaving principle and conducting norm of human endowed with nature by metaphysical Heaven when he/she exists in society and universe. It shows concentratedly Confucian embracing spirit of humanism through moral ontology,theory on moral subject,moral ethics and politics,and moral cosmology contained in it. The moral idealism expounded by it has important contemporary significance to reconstruct human moral mentality, and recover trust society and harmony nature.
