高校图书馆的新生思想道德教育职能

针对高校新生自身思想变化的特点，高校图书馆必须贯彻国家的教育方针，充分履行图书馆对高校新生思想道德教育的职能，为培养德、智、体、美等方面全面发展的合格人才服务。对高校新生进行思想道德教育，就是要充分发挥图书馆社会主义精神文明建设宣传阵地和素质教育重要基地的作用，帮助学生树立远大理想、坚定崇高信念；解决学生在新的环境遇到的学习生活困难，消除其心理障碍；培养学生健康向上、积极进取的精神，促使高校新生能迅速适应大学的学习生活环境，帮助他们顺利成长。

A Brief Analysis on Functions of University Library for the Ideological and Moral Education of University Freshmen

Based on the characteristic of freshmen＇s own change in thinking, university libraries must implement the state＇s education policy to cultivate the moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic all-round development of qualified personnel. To the university freshmen in the ideological and moral education, we must fully play the functions of the library on propageting socialist spiritual civilization construction and quality education, to help the freshmen establish lofty ideals and beliefs, solving the difficulties encountered in the study life, eliminating the psychological barrier, training them healthy and upward, enterprising sprint, promoting them quickly adapt to the study environment, to help them grow up smoothly.
