| 摘 要： | 主题句是英语语篇的重要特征,在语篇中起着重要作用,不仅将文章主题与支撑句紧密相连,而且对文章的主题起支撑和强调作用.为此,要在教学中注重培养学生主题意识,把握主题句不同位置所起的不同作用以及它们之间的关系,学会用主题句概括提炼主题,这是提高语篇能力、写好英语文章的关键.

| Abstract: | Topic sentence, as a critical textual feature of English, plays an important role in a text, strongly supporting and stressing the thesis of an essay as well as closely linking the thesis with developing sentences. Besides, the topic sentence has different functions in different positions in a paragraph. Therefore, we should not only train the students' sense of thesis, but also get them to understand clearly the relationship between the position and function of topic sentences in teaching so that students can develop their textual competence and write effective compositions by using the topic sentence to lay emphasis upon the thesis. |
