对译者主体性及其制约因素的思考

译者是翻译活动的实践主体。人们对译者主体性及其制约因素的认识大致经历了从传统译论、翻译科学论,到后现代解构主义学派等三个阶段的发展。尽管每个阶段的研究围绕不同中心,对译者主体性的认识也迥然不同,但始终局限在二元对立的研究模式中,强调某一中心对另一中心的压制。然而,翻译活动从来都不是其中某一中心的独白,译者在翻译时发挥主体性的过程,也正是译者与文本、读者以及社会文化因素展开多元互动交流、对话的过程。

On Translator's Subjectivity and Restrictions on It

Translator is the performer of translation process;the study on its subjectivity and relative restrictions has undergone several stages.In each stage the views develop around different centers;various as they appear to be,all of the views are restricted in dichotomous classification,announcing the authority of one item over another.However,translation is never a monologue of either of them.During the process,a translator is supposed to exert his own subjectivity while he carries out the dialogue with other restrictions,such as the source text,the potential reader and the multi-social factors,and thus get the text translated.
