On the Ecological Meaning in the Gesar Epic

The Tibetan Epic Gesaer has reflected the natural scene and humanity landscape in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,and recorded how people survived in a very bad natural environment as well.The Epic has not only reproduced how the ancient Tibetans cognized the natural phenomena and summed up the law of nature in their survial and development process,but also reflected the ancient people's honest concepts of development in harmony with the natural environment.These concepts are full of dialectical and simple thoughts,and have played a positive role in guiding highland people's society life.It is the very ecological environment of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau that forms the basis upon which the Tibetan nationality culture and convention emerged and developed.
