India has moved towards the ranks of big developing countries through unremitting efforts of generations of leaders since its independence in 1947.As the earliest postwar leader of India,Nehru pointed out explicitly that India would be a dramatic and impressive power in The Discovery of India.In light of Indian postwar decades of development history,this goal has been Indian basic pursuing.India has accelerated the realization of course of liberalisation,marketization and internationalization since the 1990s.Then it becomes a noticeable force of the international community with the rising of regional power.In the future development,the Indian rise could bring profound influence to South Asian and Sino-Indian relations and be considered to be one of the important events of the 21st century.
